This is the longest fireworks in Dubai. It last from 6 to 12 minutes. The sky lights up with the amazing fireworks of Atlantis the Palm and the world’s most luxury hotel Burj AL Arab. People gathered on Jumeirah Beach to enjoy the fireworks and some people also book tables in Atlantis to enjoy the luxury of Atlantis with some refreshment and enjoy the firework. Things to do on New Year’s Eve in Dubai
Single:
If you are a single traveller then the best option for you is to book your complete package including hotels and tours on time. Because most of the rooms is on double sharing basis. So it’s always recommended to book your place on time to avoid extra cost and availability issue at the last moment.
Things to do on New Year
For single it’s recommended to go to Burj Khalifa area or Jumeirah Beach for the New Year’s Eve fireworks. You can also book dinner cruise in Dubai water Canal or Dubai Marina or Dhow Cruise Dubai creek. But it will be boring for single on a dinner cruise. So it’s better to go into open spaces where many more came to celebrate the New Year fireworks.
Couple:
If you are a couple and visiting Dubai for the first time then make sure not to miss a single moment of your trip. Book your hotel and tours considering best location from where you can easily access to metro and New Year’s eve party location as travelling will be much difficult because of too much crowd on the new year eve.
Recommendation for New Year Eve
The best option for New Year’s Eve is to book a table on a Dhow Dinner cruise either in Dubai Marina, or Dubai Water Canal or Dhow cruise Dubai Creek. The difference between these cruises is the location and prices. The water canal cruise is very near to Burj Khalifa, so if you like to watch Burj Khalifa fireworks then this is the place for you.
On the other hand if you like to enjoy Atlantis and Burj Al Arab Fireworks then go for Marina Dhow Cruise. Finally there is Dhow cruise Dubai creek from where you can enjoy Burj Khalifa and festival city Fireworks but please note that the cruise cannot come near to the Burj Khalifa Area. But it will be in such location from where you can enjoy the fireworks. You can also have option to book a table in Atlantis for New Year party, but the price will be on the higher side.
Note:
It’s not recommended for couple to go to open area like burj Khalifa or Jumeirah beach for fireworks. Because you have to wait for a long time as you have to go there early to avoid traffic problem. If you go early you will feel hungry as well as tired. So it’s better to have place on a dinner cruise where you can enjoy special dinner with unlimited soft drinks tea coffee and water.
Small Group:
If you are coming in the form of small group like 5 to 10 or a group of up to 15. Don’t be late in confirming the hotel and tours availability. Because you have to choose the most suitable option for yours group. So if you are late you will be left with fewer options to choose from and it will ruin your whole plan. If you book on last moment prices will also be very high.
Recommendation for New Year Eve
There are two best options for a group of 10 to 15. The first option is to either book two to three large tables on a dinner cruise in one of the three location i.e. Marina Dinner Cruise, Water canal and Dhow Cruise Dubai Creek. Dubai Canal is the most expensive one and Creek is the cheapest dinner cruise.
The second option is to book a whole Luxury Yacht for your group in Marina or Dubai water canal. The Yacht Capacity must be from 10 to 20 people. So that all of you can easily adjust and enjoy the New Year’s Eve party. This also depends on the budget, because on such occasion the prices of luxury Yacht is much higher.
Large Group:
For a large group the hotel and tours booking must be done at least two month before New Year. Choose best location for your accommodation from where your whole group can easily access metro and all other facilities to explore Dubai attractions.
Recommendation for New Year Eve
If you are at least a group of 30 or above then the best option is to book one exclusive Deck of the Dinner Cruise for your group. The dinner cruises are double decker i.e. lower and upper so confirm as per your choice and requirements.
Additionally you have also the option to book exclusive Luxury Yacht for your group. But on such occasion the rate of the Yacht is very high. But it depends on type of gathering and according to that you can decide which one is more feasible.
Things to avoid:
Never book desert safari on New Year’s Eve day i.e. 31st Dec. Because the Burj Khalifa and downtown area become sealed from afternoon for the preparation of New Year party. So if you on desert safari you might return late to your hotel, because of huge traffic. Due to which you can be late for New Year’s eve party and you might miss the plan. So better to plans any activity in the morning and be ready for the evening fun.
